What does this mean exactly? Will this have any kind of impact to this site, considering most of our content is on old software that are owned by these two companies? To us, this news may be bitter sweet, as it doesn't really effect the direction our site is headed. We will still be an informational hub to these great games, archiving as much information as we can about them. We may have snuck a few game downloads along the way for people that have bothered to sign up to the forums, but all in all, we will continue to slowly add our avatars, our wallpapers, more trivia questions, and maybe even add a few more games while we are at it.

People might take this news the wrong way. Just because these companies have left the ESA, does not mean the companies have changed their views when it comes to abandonware gaming. They have not addressed this topic and therefore we can only assume that they have neither taken a step forward or back on this subject, but it sure does put a smile on my face, at least for a little while anyway.

Cheers, Faeran
