I think the virtual console on the Wii is a great way to play older console gems. Any one else think that

I've definitely downloaded some of the games from the wii shop channel. They have some great classic gems on there and they seem to keep adding more.

Though I already own all the classics that I want, it is always great to have the really good ones accessible. At least I don't have to worry about losing my saved games on The Legend of Zelda because I didn't hold the reset button before I pressed power to turn off my NES. :D

Ahh, memories...

Totally Agree. It's a great way to preserve the classics and isn't that why we are all here?

I keep meaning to buy some games but just haven't got around to it.

I haven't hooked my Wii up to the internet yet (I got one for Xmas). I'm planning to at some point, so I'll probably download a few.

I used to have a Wii but I sold it and I used to download retro games such as SOR. I have got to admit I want to buy a Megadrive and buy the proper games. It just feels so much better on an older system.
